Read this carefully

Massillon Legal Support and Notary Services is not a law firm. Phillippe Massillon Simon is a Florida notary public and document preparation specialist — he is not a licensed attorney. Nothing on this site or in our communications is legal advice.

What we are not

We are not attorneys and we do not practice law. We do not interpret statutes, evaluate the legal merits of a matter, recommend whether you should sign a document, or represent you in any court or proceeding. If you are unsure about the legal effect of a document or which document is appropriate for your situation, consult a licensed Florida attorney before proceeding.

What we do

We provide self-help document preparation, document organization, e-filing assistance, e-signature workflows, and Remote Online Notarization. Every service is performed strictly to your written instructions. We do not select forms, choose strategies, or fill in missing decisions on your behalf.

No attorney-client relationship

Submitting an intake, signing up for an account, scheduling a call, uploading documents, paying for a service, communicating with us via email or any other channel, or using any feature of this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. Your communications with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege.

Remote Online Notary (Florida)

Florida law requires the notary to be physically located within the state of Florida during a Remote Online Notarization session (Fla. Stat. § 117.215). Signers may be located anywhere within the United States. We perform RON sessions through OneNotary or SnapDocs — both Florida-approved platforms — and confirm the notary's location before each session begins. When Phillippe is traveling outside Florida, your session is scheduled with a partner Florida-licensed notary at no change in process or quality.

Notarial journal entries and the audio/video recording of each session are retained for 10 years as required by Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 117.245).

E-filing

When you ask us to file documents on your behalf, we upload them to the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal exactly as you provide them. We do not edit content. We do not advise on whether the filing is procedurally appropriate. We are not your representative on the docket — you remain the filer of record.

E-signatures

E-signatures executed through our platform are legally valid under the U.S. E-SIGN Act and Florida's Uniform Electronic Transaction Act. By signing electronically, you consent to do business electronically and acknowledge that your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one.

No guaranteed outcomes

Document preparation services do not guarantee any particular legal result. Court rules, judges, and circumstances vary, and outcomes depend on factors outside of our control. We are not liable for consequences arising from the use of documents we prepare to your specifications.

Confidentiality, not privilege

We treat your information as confidential. However, because we are not attorneys, our communications with you are not covered by attorney-client privilege and could potentially be subject to discovery in litigation. If privileged communications are important to your matter, retain a licensed attorney.

Jurisdiction

We serve clients located anywhere in the United States, but our services are designed for Florida-jurisdictional matters and Florida notarial acts. If you need a notary licensed in another state, we are not the right provider.
